Hamil Ma is a native of Tibet, and lived in Ridgecrest for many years. His lovely works of the local mountains, particularly the Sierra, are well loved by all of us. He lives currently in Virginia, but comes to California several times each year to go hiking in the Sierra to find lovely places to paint with his watercolors.
